OMaui.com is a rapidly growing site offering a daily surf report and outlook as well as many comprehensive tools and resources intended to provide surfers, bodyboarders, bodysurfers, windsurfers, kiteboarders and other beachgoers with accurate conditions and forecast data to better plan their time spent in the water.

Without any major advertising of it's own, OMaui has grown exponentially since it's inception and is now on the verge of taking off.

Traffic coming to the site continues to increase and is currently ranked as the 1,013,984th most viewed site on the Internet, according to Alexa (October 30th, 2006).

Approximately 800-1000 real people visit the site every day; 400-500 of them check the site daily. I say "real" people because I'm not talking about hits, or page views, or any other mumbo-jumbo – these are confirmed visitors. They are dedicated watermen and women who want to buy your surf-related product. They want to know about your contest or beach clean-up. They are listening... what do you have to say?

Target Audience
This site is intended to be visited regularly by Maui waveriders, but more and more Maui visitors are finding the wealth of information, live web cams, and discussion board to be a great way for them to "connect" to the island before (and after) their vacation.

My intention is to provide targetted ads towards the Maui surf community, so it would only make sense that your ad is intended for that crowd.

I am passionate about the ocean and the sense of peace that it brings to so many people. I realize that there is great responsibility in reporting and forecasting the surf and that more people in the water could potentially result in more tension in the lineups. By encouraging and educating people how to respect one another and the environment I hope to make a difference.
